Viner, who taught Son Yeon-jae, conducted the Russian military parade

Reporter Park Sang-hyun = ‘Godmother of world rhythmic gymnastics’ Irina Viner, who once coached Son Yeon-jae, was seen conducting a rehearsal for a Russian military parade.

Sports media Inside the Games quoted Tribuna, a Ukrainian media outlet, as reporting that a video was released of Viner, who is currently the president of the Russian Rhythmic Gymnastics Association, overseeing a rehearsal for a military parade held two days before the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

The video shows Chairman Viner leading a Russian military parade at the Irina Viner-Usmanova Gymnastics Palace in Moscow, Russia. The parade is scheduled to be held on the first anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 24 last year. 메이저놀이터

President Viner, from Uzbekistan, is regarded as the most successful rhythmic gymnast instructor in history, raising Olympic champions such as Evgenia Kanaeva, Alina Kabaeva, and Yulia Vasukova. He has been the head coach of the Russian national team since 2001, before being elected president of the Russian Rhythmic Gymnastics Association in 2008, and also coached Son Yeon-jae during this time.

In 2015, the International Olympic Committee (IOC), which recognized his achievements, awarded Chairman Viner the Olympic Medal, which is given to a person who made outstanding sports achievements.

However, since Russia invaded Ukraine, he has been actively cooperating with the Russian government. In particular, since the Russian rhythmic gymnastics national team is scheduled to perform at this event, they are not hesitant to act in violation of the sports world’s principle that they should not intervene or be interfered with in politics.
