“Pray for Türkiye”… Early entry due to the earthquake, female national coach’s request

Cesar Hernandez (Spain), the Korean women’s volleyball team coach from Turkiye, mourned the victims of the great earthquake in Turkiye. 

Head coach Cesar of the Korean women’s volleyball team attended a New Year’s press conference held on the 11th at the seminar room of the Business Center of the Korea Cartoon Image Promotion Agency in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province, and asked, “I hope you pray a lot for Turkiye.” 

Cesar serves as both the coach of the Korean national team and the coach of the Turkish women’s professional volleyball team, Vakifbank. Cesar initially planned to visit Korea on the 13th with the consent of the Vakifbank club and spend 2 nights and 3 days, but recently returned to Korea as a national mourning period was declared due to the earthquake in Turkey. Coach Cesar arrived in Korea on the 10th and held a New Year’s press conference on the same day.

Meanwhile, coach César plans to return to Turkey after watching the Incheon Heungkuk Life Insurance-IBK Industrial Bank match on the 11th and the Jangchung GS Caltex-KGC Ginseng Corporation match on the 12th.
