Doosan coach Lee Seung-yeop said after the game, “It was the first match against an outside team in 2023. I focused on the content rather than the result, but the players showed a hard work,” he said. “I confirmed the good parts and the parts that need improvement. We will carry on the good things and reorganize the bad parts through the coaching staff meeting.”
At the same time, he said, “If I had to pick a player I would like to praise, it would be Ahn Seung-han, who has led the pitchers stably as a catcher.”
Ahn Seung-han recorded 2 hits in 4 at-bats that day and did his part in both offense and defense.
Ahn Seung-han said, “It’s a practice game, so it doesn’t mean much. However, I am satisfied that preparations for the season are going well as planned. I am more happy to see that our pitchers are generally good than to have multiple hits. We will do our best for the rest of the camp schedule as we do now.”
